Who we are

STUDIO GALI is the trading name of Danielle Tringali, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at danielle@galistudio.com.

What we collect

• The details you share in our consultation form: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, your timeline, your message and any photograph you choose to include.
• Your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
• Details you share with us during a commission, such as ring sizes, preferences, delivery details and payment records.
• Basic technical information our website host records for security, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

How we use it, and why

• To reply to your inquiry and arrange your consultation, because you have asked us to and it is in our legitimate interest to respond.
• To carry out your commission, sourcing or heritage reset, because it is necessary to perform our agreement with you.
• To keep business, tax and accounting records, because the law requires it.
• To send our newsletter, because you have given your consent. You may withdraw it at any time using the link in every email.
• To keep our website secure, because it is in our legitimate interest to do so.

Cookies and tracking

Our website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising technology, and our fonts are hosted on our own site. We do not track you across other websites. Should this ever change, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first wherever the law requires it.

As we do not track visitors, there is nothing for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off. Our website behaves the same way whether or not your browser sends them.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising or use it for profiling. We share it only with the providers who help us run the studio, and only as far as they need it: our website host and form provider (Netlify), our email provider (Microsoft), WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us there, our accountant, and the insured couriers who deliver your creation. Each is bound to protect it.

International transfers

Some of our providers store or process information in the United States. Where information leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, it is protected by recognized safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We keep client records for as long as our legal, tax and accounting obligations require. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights in the UK and European Union

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Your rights in the United States

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Texas, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, to receive a copy, and to opt out of its sale, its use for targeted advertising or profiling. As described above, we do none of these things. To make a request, write to us at danielle@galistudio.com. You may use an authorized agent, we will verify requests before acting on them, and we will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers and sensible safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, but we take care to limit what we collect and who can see it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with its effective date.
